2007-2008 Student Bus Services
Effective March 17, 2008: The afternoon bus runs (#907 and the activities bus) will stop at the Mercer Island park & ride garage, instead of Walgreen’s Drugs. The morning bus from South Seattle will continue to stop at Walgreen’s Drug..
Changes: For 2007-2008 we have added activity buses for both Seattle/Mercer Island and the Eastside. Activity buses will leave Forest Ridge at 5:30 pm. The Seattle activity bus will stop at Mercer Island, Our Lady of Mount Virgin, Broadmoor and St. Bridget. (This is the same route the Mercer Island/Seattle after-school bus will follow.) The Eastside bus will go to the Bellevue stop, Houghton, Target in Redmond and NE 8th and 228th NE in Sammamish. The riders that used the St. Edwards and St. Paul stops last year will use the Mount Virgin stop this year. The total time for each of the activity runs is one and a quarter hours.
Student bus service will start on Tuesday, September 4. Morning service will be free so that bus passes can be purchased on the first day. Bus passes will be required for the afternoon run. Bus passes will cost $145 for the 2007-2008 school year. Each pass has room for 40 punches. Morning and after-school rides will cost one punch; activity rides will cost two punches per ride. Passes can be purchased at the reception desk in the Sacred Heart Center. Passes from last year are good until used up.
Redmond-Bellevue Service (changed 10/16/07) This bus leaves the St. Judes parking lot on Education Hill in Redmond, makes stops at the Metro Park & Ride at NE 70th, and Bellevue city park at 100th Ave NE and NE 1st St before going to the campus. The route is reversed in the afternoon.
Plateau-Issaquah Service The plateau bus leaves from the Metro Park & Ride at Redmond Ridge Drive and Cedar Park Crest Drive, goes to McDonalds at NE 8th Street and 228th Ave NE, stops at the Blockbuster outlet at the Pine Lake Shopping Center and continues on to Maple & 12th St NW in Issaquah before proceeding to the campus. The afternoon route is reversed.
Eastside Activity Bus Service The Eastside activity bus will leave Forest Ridge at 5:30 and go to the Bellevue, Houghton, Target in Redmond and City of Sammamish (NE 8th Street & 228th Ave NE) stops.
North Seattle Morning Service The North Seattle service will start at St. Bridget north of University Village, stop at the entrance to Broadmoor Golf Club on E. Madison and then go on to Forest Ridge.
South Seattle/Mercer Island Morning Service The South Seattle/Mercer Island service will start at Our Lady of Mount Virgin in Seattle, stop at Walgreen’s on Mercer Island and continue on to Forest Ridge.
Afternoon Mercer Island/Seattle Service One bus will leave Forest Ridge at 3:20 and make stops at Walgreen’s on Mercer Island, Our Lady of Mount Virgin in Seattle and at Broadmoor Golf Club on E. Madison and St. Bridget on NE 50th Street.
Mercer Island/Seattle Activity Bus The activity bus for Mercer Island and Seattle will leave the campus at 5:30 and follow the same route as the after-school bus, ending at St. Bridget.
Bus Passes Students must have a bus pass to ride the Forest Ridge buses. Bus passes will cost $145 for the 2007-2008 school year. Each pass is good for forty rides on any of the three routes and can be purchased at the reception desk in the Sacred Heart Center. Passes from last year are good until used up.

METRO SERVICE Metro has Route 921 that provides service during the day between the Bellevue Transit Center and Forest Ridge. This bus stops on Somerset Boulevard near 139th Ave SE. Please note that students will have to walk up and down the final hill of SE 139th to and from the school.
