2007 – 2008 Campus Traffic and Parking Areas

Student Pick-up and Drop-off

Before
8:00 am		 Students arriving for zero period or to wait in the Commons before school can use either entrance for drop off in front of the chapel or theatre or the gymnasium.
8:00 – 8:30 Cars arriving for student drop off after 8:00 must enter on the lower drive. This includes carpool parents dropping off two or more students. The drop-off and pick-up zone will be from the curb in front of the theatre along the back drive to the top of the hill or along the curb by the high school. Cars dropping off in front of the high school will enter from the lower drive, circle around the traffic circle, drop the students along the sidewalk and exit back out the lower drive. Cars dropping off along the back drive will then exit out the upper entrance.
8:15 The four Laidlaw buses will enter on the upper drive and drop off in front of the gymnasium and #100 building.
3:10 – 3:20 Three Laidlaw buses will load in front of the gymnasium and leave the campus at 3:20.
3:20 – 3:45 Cars arriving for the afternoon student pick up must enter on the lower drive and que through the lower parking lot. Middle school students will be picked up on the back drive between the theatre and the gymnasium, and cars will exit out the upper drive. High school students can be picked up along the sidewalk in front of the high school, and cars can exit out the lower drive entrance.
5:30 Two activity buses, one for Seattle and the second for the eastside, will load in front of the #100 building and leave the campus.

Please follow these guidelines in dropping off and picking up students:

  • Do not block entrances to the parking lot.
  • Do not drop students off or pick them up between the chapel and the theatre..
  • Do not turn into the lower parking lot to drop students off or pick them up – go around the traffic circle and stop alongside the curb in front of the high school.

Parking Lots

Student & Staff Carpool Parking
Student or staff drivers with two or more passengers may park in the five stalls across from the gymnasium.

Lower Parking Lot
The lower parking lot will be reserved for visitors and faculty and staff parking. The two auction stalls are also be located here. There will not be any student parking in the lower lot.

Student Parking
Students must park in the upper parking lot.

Faculty & Staff Parking
The parking stalls on both sides of the lot in front of building #100, the 15 stalls across from the bus/van parking and the entire upper parking lot are available for faculty and staff on a first come basis. Three stalls in the upper lot by the convent are reserved for the residents of the convent

Forest Ridge Buses & Vans
The white buses and vans will continue to park in the area reserved for them.

Early Dismissal
Parents may pick up their daughter in front of the Sacred Heart Center.
