Curriculum
The hallmark of a Forest Ridge education is a creative and dedicated faculty, whose members are tireless in their efforts to provide a rigorous college-preparatory curriculum in a vibrant, challenging environment. Small classes facilitate excellent learning. Take a closer look and you will find students recreating the crusades in the forest, equipped with handmade swords and shields; paddling the waters of Baja in search of marine life; reenacting historical characters such as Julius Caesar and Augustus; striking out on an authentic archaeological dig; learning about math theorems by reading Fermat's Enigma; or deepening understanding of neurological disorders through a discussion of The Man Who Mistook His Wife for a Hat. With an average class size of 15, students have the freedom to be creative and myriad opportunities to pursue their passions.
