Empowering

Girls Since 1907

Forest Ridge is a small school with big opportunities. A close-knit community where every girl is known, celebrated, and supported. Serving grades 5–12, we combine a tradition of Sacred Heart education with a future-ready vision, empowering students to grow as thinkers, leaders, and compassionate changemakers. Here, girls find both challenge and belonging: a home away from home where they can take risks, discover passions, and step into the world with confidence and joy.

To me, Forest Ridge is more than just the place I go to school. It's the place I've learned who I am, made my best friends, and been prepared for my future as a leader. Because of Forest Ridge's community, I've had the opportunity to watch my sister grow into a courageous yet empathetic young woman; because of Forest Ridge's curriculum, I've been able to foster a lifelong love for learning; and because of Forest Ridges' teachers, I've felt supported the whole journey through.

At Forest Ridge, I was given the gift of exploration. In this community, I could pursue any potential interest - drama, sports, leadership, music, service - and have the opportunity to learn what my strengths and gifts were. Somewhere else, I may have had a more narrow experience, having to dial in on one activity or interest early on. Having the ability to explore and the support and encouragement of the community around me opened my eyes to things I would have never learned about myself otherwise. It’s been something that has carried on to adulthood. As a result, I now go through life not limiting myself and never being afraid to try something new or start over. It keeps life interesting and fulfilling and has given me confidence and an understanding of my own identity sooner than most.

In Her Own Words

At Forest Ridge, every experience is designed with purpose. Hear from students and alumnae about how our intentional approach to learning and community helps them grow into confident, compassionate changemakers.
