Julia Maynard '11, Data Science

Julia Maynard is a Senior Project Director at YouGov where she is on one of the leading teams for political polling and election forecasting in the U.S.. Her work is cited by major political players and reported on and used by major national and international media outlets. She has worked on the 2022 U.S. midterm elections, 2024 presidential election, is currently gearing up for the 2026 midterm elections, and has covered every major (and sometimes even minor) political event in between. She holds a PhD in Political Science from the University of Michigan, with a focus on comparative politics and methodology, a MA from McGill University, and a BA in Political Science and French from the University of Portland.
