A Message of Thanksgiving
Dear Forest Ridge Community,
As we enter this season of gratitude, I find myself reflecting on what a privilege it is to be part of this remarkable community. Thanksgiving invites us to pause, something that can feel rare in the pace of school life, and to notice the abundance that surrounds us: the people who steady us, the moments that shape us, and the values that guide us through both joy and challenge.
This year, I am especially grateful for our students, who are the heart of this school. They bring curiosity, courage, humor, and compassion to campus every single day. They ask bold questions, take intellectual risks, cheer for one another, and act with kindness in ways both big and small. Every day, they remind us why our work matters. It is an honor to walk alongside them as they grow into young people of conscience, intellect, and heart.
I am equally grateful for our parents and guardians, whose partnership makes this work possible. Thank you for entrusting us with your children, for your belief in the mission of the Sacred Heart, and for the countless ways you support our school. Your commitment strengthens our community and inspires us every day.
And to our extraordinary faculty and staff: thank you for the depth of care you bring to your work. Your dedication, creativity, and unwavering belief in each student create the conditions for real growth. You model what it means to lead with integrity, compassion, and resilience. Forest Ridge is the vibrant, joyful place it is because of your daily efforts and the love you pour into your classrooms, programs, and relationships.
As you gather with loved ones this week, around full tables or in quieter moments, I hope you find the space to reflect on the gifts of your own life. Gratitude does not erase the complexities of our world, but it reminds us that goodness persists, that relationships sustain us, and that we each have a role in shaping a more hopeful future.
Thank you for the many ways you contribute to the life of this school. Forest Ridge is a special place because of you, and I am profoundly thankful to walk this journey with you.
Wishing you and your family a restful and joy-filled Thanksgiving.
With gratitude,
Mary Rose Guerin
