Celebrating Biliteracy at Forest Ridge
At Forest Ridge, we place a high value on biliteracy and the many ways our students use language to connect, lead, and thrive. Our community is full of multi-talented learners who bring curiosity, creativity, and global awareness to their studies—and Anna S. ’26 is a shining example.

Anna has earned Working Fluency in both French and English through the Global Seal of Biliteracy—an impressive accomplishment that recognizes strong, real-world communication skills in two languages. This distinction indicates that she can confidently engage in everyday conversations, read and respond to a wide range of texts, and express her ideas clearly and accurately across cultures.
The Global Seal of Biliteracy is an internationally recognized credential awarded through external testing, providing students with a portable, evidence-based certification of their language proficiency. Earning this credential not only celebrates Anna’s dedication to language study, but also highlights a valuable global competency that will serve her well in future academic, professional, and intercultural pursuits.
We are delighted to celebrate Anna’s achievement—the first of many we anticipate this year—as it reflects the global mindset and diverse talents that define our Forest Ridge community. Félicitations et bravo!
