Congé 2026

Yesterday, Forest Ridge came alive with the magic of Disney for one of our most beloved school traditions — Congé!

Congé is a cherished celebration rooted in Sacred Heart schools around the world. Derived from the French word for "leave-taking," it's a day when students set aside their regular studies and pour their energy into community, joy, and togetherness.

This year's Disney-themed Congé was a day to remember. Led by our Upper School ASB officers, the day was filled with activities that brought out the childlike wonder in everyone on campus. Students decorated Mickey ears, collaborated on creative floats, and gathered for brunch in "Goofy's Kitchen." Disney bingo, karaoke, and classic movies kept the fun going throughout the day, while a special princess visit and a storybook read-along added a touch of fairytale magic. The festivities culminated in a joyful float parade that wound its way through campus, a fitting finale to a truly special day.

It's a day that speaks to the spirit of our Sacred Heart community, one that values joy and togetherness as much as the work done inside the classroom. We are grateful to our student leaders for the creativity, heart, and dedication they poured into making this day unforgettable for our entire Forest Ridge community.
