Community and the Forest Ridge Fund
Hannah Nation, Annual Giving Manager

On October 19th, our campus was once again able to celebrate the Feast of Mater Admirabilis. It was a joy-filled celebration of a beloved tradition that is shared by all Sacred Heart schools around the world. For the first time in 18 months, our whole community was able to come together and celebrate, not only this special feast mass but be together in the shared presence of our Forest Ridge community. It seems so appropriate that Mater Admirabilis, who connects all Sacred Heart Schools, is what brought together our community this day.

The Feast of Mater Admirabilis is a day that grounds my work as the Annual Giving Manager. My work in the Development Office is rooted in my deep belief in the Forest Ridge mission. As a product of Catholic, all-girls education myself, I understand the transformative power of a Forest Ridge school. When I come to the Ridge every day, I find myself refreshed and reenergized by the students on our campus. The laughter, friendships and learning I see every day is the reason I am so passionate about the work that I do. At its core, I see development work as being centered around the student experience, pushing forward the Sacred Heart mission.

I believe that all girls should have the opportunity to be Forest Ridge girls, and so I work passionately for the Forest Ridge Fund in a commitment to supporting our students to reach their greatest potential. The Forest Ridge Fund supports our students in providing critical funding to areas such as tuition assistance (40% of our students receive some form of financial assistance), academic and extra-curricular programs and campus facilities and maintenance- just to name a few!

Forest Ridge inspires our students to grow into the best version of themselves, giving them the courage and confidence to take on the complex challenges of our world. Philanthropy is vital in providing a Forest Ridge education and delivering on our mission, and I hope you will join me in making a contribution to the 2021-2022 Forest Ridge Fund in a shared commitment to our remarkable students and community.
