On Saturday, February 28, Forest Ridge hosted the first annual AAPI (Asian American Pacific Islander) Affinity Student Meet-Up and Potluck, welcoming students from schools across the Seattle area for an afternoon together!

Students brought dishes to share, representing a range of cultures and family traditions. They spent time connecting over food, making arts and crafts, playing dodgeball in the gym, and karaoke. It was a simple and meaningful chance to meet other AAPI students and build community beyond their own campuses.

Thank you to our AAPI student leaders for taking the lead in making this event happen, and to Mr. Vincent, our Director of Faith & Justice, for helping bring it all together.

“I’m so proud of our AAPI student leaders,” Mr. Vincent said. “They had the vision and the drive to organize this event. Forest Ridge was honored to provide the space for them to gather. We can’t wait to be part of this in the years to come.”
