From Classroom to Concert: Cara F. ’30 Shines on the Piano
  • Middle School

From classroom to concert, Cara F. ’30 has been playing piano since she was 7 years old. Her incredible piano skills have taken her around the world.

This past summer, Cara traveled to several historical venues to perform, including Perugia, Italy to attend a music fest there for the second time.

In Perugia, Cara performed Chopin Piano Concerto No. 2 in F minor Op. 21 at Sala dei Notari.

Cara also recently performed Chopin Impromptu in A flat Major, Op. 29 at the Washington State Music Teachers Association (WSMTA) Honors Recital hosted by Gonzaga University.

Cara says her "favorite thing about piano is that I can travel to beautiful, historical venues to perform. I also love making new connections and friendships with people from all over the world while learning about music. Playing piano also makes me feel a sense of pride and accomplishment."

We cannot wait to see where your talents take you, Cara!
