Homecoming and Spirit Week

Homecoming and Spirit Week
Meg Shortell, Dean of Students

There was certainly no shortage of joy and spirit on the Ridge this month!

We kicked off a fun month with Homecoming Week, which was celebrated October 10-13, beginning with The Ravens Rally on to honor all our fall athletes and show our school spirit. Students, staff, and parents packed the stands to cheer on our upper school volleyball athletes and celebrated our upper school soccer athletes when they returned from their game. Our middle school athletes were celebrated with goodie bags when they departed for their games too!

Homecoming Week concluded with the upper school Homecoming Dance on Friday evening. We had over 100 students participate is this super fun event. Students “got Tangled in the fun” with a night of dancing, snacks, and a photobooth!

Fall Spirit Week wrapped up the month. The ASB planned a fun “Fall Feuds” Spirit Week with dress up days like “Heros vs. Villains” and “CMAs vs. VMAs” with lunchtime activities for each dress up day. The middle school FLY Leadership Team planned the middle school themes that started off with “holiday dress” and finished with a cozy pajama party and Middle School Social full of games, spooky cake decorating, and community building.

We loved seeing all of the spirit and can't wait for the next spirit week on the Ridge!
