Multicultural Night 2026

If you were in Forest Ridge's Gymnasium on the evening of April 18th, you already know it was a night worth showing up for. For the third year running, Forest Ridge hosted Multicultural Night, and the energy in the room spoke for itself.

The event was entirely student-led, organized over months by senior conveners Katelyn T. '26 and Aliya A. '26, who brought together food, music, dance, and community in a way that felt genuine and fun.

"We wanted this night to feel like every single person in the room could see themselves represented and feel proud of where they come from," said Katelyn. "Watching that actually happen in real time was something I will never forget."

Families brought dishes from their own traditions, filling the tables with food and conversation. Guests dressed in cultural attire, and performances throughout the evening showcased the range of backgrounds and talents within the Forest Ridge community.

"There were so many moments where I just looked around the room and felt so much love," said Aliya. "This community is incredible. I am so grateful we got to do this together."

The evening also featured raffle prizes, including free dessert from the FRidge for the rest of the year, a month of free lunches, and the Head of School parking spot for a week.

Three years in, Multicultural Night has earned its place as one of the most anticipated evenings of the school year. Congratulations to Katelyn, Aliya, all our affinity group leaders, Mr. Vincent, and everyone who made it happen. Until next year!
