Middle school soccer had a standout season, balancing fun and skill development in every practice and game. “We focused on the goals having fun and getting better, and we all agree that we succeeded on both counts,” reflected Coach Sam Nicols. The team’s energy and teamwork were evident throughout the season, with eighth graders Caroline D., Jamie C., and Kate S. leading by example. They guided warm-ups, set the tone on the field, and supported their teammates both in victory and defeat. The team’s effort paid off, closing the season with an impressive 4-1-1 record and plenty of pride in their accomplishments.

The upper school volleyball team celebrated its most successful season in recent years, clinching the SeaTac League title for the 2B classification. Their hard work and determination carried them deep into the postseason, where they narrowly missed a trip to the State Championships by just one game. This achievement marks a new high point for the program and sets the stage for continued success next year.

For upper school soccer, this fall was a year of growth and promise. With more than half the roster made up of ninth graders, the young team showed resilience and progress, scoring more goals this season than in the past several combined. The future looks bright for this developing group of athletes as they continue to build chemistry and confidence.

Both the middle school and upper school cross country teams showcased dedication and strength throughout the season. The middle school team delivered an outstanding performance at the Crosstown Middle School League Championships, finishing second out of 14 teams. Their consistent effort and sportsmanship were a testament to the team’s hard work and unity.

Reflecting on the season, Athletic Director Jeanne Higgins shared her pride: “The fall season has come to a close and we couldn't be prouder of our student athletes… Congratulations, Ravens!”

From league championships to moments of growth and friendship, the 2025 fall sports season at Forest Ridge embodied what it means to be a Raven—competitive, spirited, and always striving to improve.
