The Legacy Art Project, launched in 2022, was created as a way to highlight and celebrate the wonderful arts at Forest Ridge. Each year faculty in the Art Department select a group of standout artworks made in their classes and invite students to gift their pieces to the school. These displays of artwork on our walls around campus not only showcase the beautiful work of our students, but also honor the artist’s inspiration, skill, and creativity.

Forest Ridge recognizes that excellence in the arts strengthens community, empowers student voices, and builds student confidence, all key elements of our mission. The work showcases a variety of mediums and themes, from mixed-media self-portraits, to abstract paintings, representational drawings, inventive prints, detailed papercuts and more.
