Upcoming Performing Arts Events
Alison Seaton, Fine Arts Department Chair, 12th Grade Level Lead, and Mission Education

As I sit down to write this post, it is sunny and cold. – A big change from just a few weeks ago, but so lovely for this ‘just before winter’ time of year. As we approach Thanksgiving, and, our busy performance season here at Forest Ridge, I find myself being immensely grateful for the return of a robust performance program here at school after two years of pandemic restrictions. Our rehearsals are filled with fun, learning and great performance art!

After school in the 600 building you will find students dancing, singing and being fitted for costumes as the HS Theatre students get ready to perform the musical ‘Chicago’ next week. MS students are exploring the beautiful message of the play ‘Charlotte’s Web’ which will perform on December 9th and 10th, choir singers and handbell ringers are polishing music for our concerts on December 6 and December 11. Busy, yes. Fun, inspiring and joyful. Absolutely!

I hope you all will come to sample some of the holiday joy that is Forest Ridge performing arts during the holidays! If you have questions, don’t hesitate to reach out to me at aseaton@forestridge.org
