Raven basketball has had a busy month! Middle School Team Green and Team Blue have dominated the Crosstown Middle School League this season! Team Blue remains undefeated and Team Green heads into their final four games with only one loss. Both teams have their final home game of the season on Monday February 12. Come out and support the Ravens! The season officially wraps up on Thursday February 15 with Team Green playing the University Prep Pumas at The Puma Dome.

Our high school basketball teams have played tough this season—often playing back-to-back games to have a full squad for both JV and Varsity contests in the same evening. Nine of our 14 players are freshmen, so the future is bright for this team. 9^th grader Maddie A. and sister Mia A. (11^th grade) have been leading the Ravens on the scoreboard. 11^th grader Jaya J. continues to use her speed and agility to lead the team in steals. Despite being new to basketball, senior Hailey J. has proven that her soccer skills translate onto the court with solid defense. The only other senior on the team, Sofia S., continues to pull down rebounds. The Ravens’ season comes to a close Wednesday January 31 with an away game vs The Bear Creek School. This should be an exciting game as the Grizzlies narrowly defeated the Ravens in the opening game of the season.
