International Day of Women in Science - A Look at Forest Ridge STEM Club
The month of February celebrates International Day of Women and Girls in Science. At Forest Ridge we have many STEM related opportunities for our students, both in and out of the classroom. One of these is our amazing STEM club, which focuses on research opportunities, national STEM fairs and competitions, earning STEM related service hours, and promoting diversity in the field of STEM.
Recently, the STEM club is back for semester 2 and has fun activities planned such as making borax crystals and bringing in guest speakers. We can't wait to see what they get up to!
