Student Visit/Interview

Join us on campus for a sample of the Forest Ridge experience. Students and parents/guardians have an opportunity to hear from current students and learn about our program, and then parents/guardians have a chance to tour the school while prospective students spend the day at Forest Ridge attending classes.

Our student visit days offer an excellent way for your daughter to experience a day at Forest Ridge, and to learn more about our program and community.

Standardized Test Scores

Standardized testing is one piece of the application, which is reviewed holistically. Forest Ridge will accept any standardized test a student has taken in the past 12 months. Examples of standardized tests include MAP or SBA, among others. These scores should be included in the school records sent by the current school.

If a student has not taken a standardized test in their current school, they are required to submit either SSAT or ISEE scores.

Standardized tests such as MAP, SBA, or others: Completed at all local public schools and many independent/Catholic schools.
SSAT: At-home (for grades 6 and up) or in-person testing available. Forest Ridge will host the SSAT on October 10, 2026 (Middle and Upper level only). Check out all the details here. Our SSAT school code is 3205.
ISEE: At-home or in-person testing available. Our ISEE school code is 481691.
HSPT: Only available for upper school applicants. Offered at local Catholic schools. Please contact them directly for registration information.

If you plan to take the SSAT or ISEE, we recommend registering as soon as possible, as seats fill up quickly. There are several options for where and how to take these tests. Any method or location is acceptable, as long as the official results are sent to Forest Ridge.

Applying for Financial Aid

Forest Ridge uses the Clarity Application to determine a family’s level of financial need. Clarity offers a streamlined application process that takes less than thirty minutes to complete on a mobile phone, tablet, or desktop computer. Each family’s 2025 tax forms (the 1040 and W2) will transfer automatically from the IRS. Additional documents may be required. Financial aid applications are due by December 18, 2026 for current families and January 14, 2027 for new families.

Though they are separate, financial aid awards will be communicated concurrently with our admission decision. Any financial aid awards will be included on enrollment contracts for accepted students.
