SSAT at Forest Ridge

Every year, students from across the region come to Forest Ridge on a fall Saturday morning to sit for the SSAT. For Eastside families especially, our central location means convenience and less stress on test day. Below please find everything you need to know to get your student in the door and ready to test without any surprises. Advance registration is required. Please read the details below carefully.

Before Test Day

Test Day: Saturday, October 10, 2026 - (Middle/Upper level test only)

  1. Register in advance. Advance registration is required. Please be sure to register your student at www.ssat.org. Forest Ridge does not register students on your behalf.
  2. Print or save your admission ticket.
    • Save it to your phone, or
    • Print it: log in to your SSAT portal → "SSAT Testing" → select the caret next to your test date → "Print Ticket"
  3. Check for closures. Inclement weather or other closures are rare but possible. Monitor your email and the SSAT Alerts page the morning of the test.

Test Day Timeline

Test Day: Saturday, October 10, 2026

8:15-8:45 am - Check-in (no admittance after 8:45 am)

9:00 am - Testing begins

12:15-12:30 pm - Testing ends

Please plan to arrive early. Students who arrive after 9 am cannot be admitted, no exceptions.

Parents may not remain in the testing building once testing begins.

What to Bring

  • Admission ticket (on your phone or printed)
  • At least three #2 pencils with good erasers (no mechanical pencils, no pens)
  • A snack and a drink, in clear containers labeled with your student's name
  • Also allowed: hand sanitizer, a mask, tissues, feminine hygiene products

What to Leave at Home

  • All Electronics: Calculators, cell phones (must be turned off if brought), fitness tracker, wristbands, media players, all watches.
  • Personal Items: Backpacks, bags, large jewelry, purses.
  • See the full list of prohibited items, including the cell phone policy.

Getting to Forest Ridge & Parking

Address: 4800 139th Avenue SE, Bellevue, WA 98006

Check-in location: Sacred Heart Center/Main Administration Building (Building 700)

Parking: The best place to park is our lower parking lot, reached via our Somerset Avenue entrance. If you come in via 139th Ave SE instead, drive through campus down to the lower lot.
