Ways to Give

In addition to the Forest Ridge Fund, we offer multiple giving options, to include:

Planned Giving

Planned Gifts allow you to make arrangements now to provide a single or series of charitable gifts to Forest Ridge in the future.

There are many types of planned gifts, including outright gifts, bequests by will, charitable trusts, life income agreements, gift annuities and life insurance. As a donor, it can be confusing to determine which vehicle (if any) is most beneficial to your circumstances.

While Forest Ridge is ever-grateful for planned gifts, it is important to us to know that you have consulted an attorney or financial advisor. If you do not have such an advisor, we may be able to recommend one. Please note that Forest Ridge is not engaged in giving legal or financial advice.

Please contact the Office of Institutional Advancement with questions.

Scholarships

Scholarships, endowed scholarships and scholarship funds help maximize educational opportunity for all qualified girls and young women by offering tuition assistance for those who need it. This promotes a more diverse and competitive educational environment from which all Forest Ridge students benefit.

Donations of appreciated securities, usually common stock, provide a tax-efficient way of making your gift. Gifts of appreciated securities held for more than one year may entitle you to a charitable income tax deduction for the fair market value of the securities on the date of the gift. Additionally, you may avoid the capital gains tax that would otherwise be due on the appreciation if the security were sold.
