Arts & Innovation

Forest Ridge students hone their craft for credit or fun in the wide selection of studio arts, performing arts, music and design classes. Students can lay out a newspaper page, develop their own photographs, throw clay on the pottery wheel, compose a digital symphony and build a stunning portfolio. Teachers foster a rigorous and supportive environment, pushing students to challenge themselves. Forest Ridge girls build creativity, confidence and resilience and have a blast doing it.

The mission of our school calls the girls to be ambassadors for creativity. It’s a huge part of what a Forest Ridge girl is, tapping into her creativity and imagination. The girls work hard to make these programs incredible. They take way more art than is required and in our program there is a lot to explore.—Alison Seaton, Fine Arts Department Chair
