Outdoor Education


The primary goals of Outdoor Education are to teach Forest Ridge students to love and respect nature, promote advocacy and stewardship of the Earth, and develop leadership skills, problem solving abilities, and resilience.

Outdoor Education is also an opportunity for students to safely challenge themselves and expand their network of friends.

While there are fees associated with select Outdoor Education activities, funds are available for qualifying students.

  • Snowshoe & Snow Camping Trip
  • Backpacking & Camping
  • Classroom Outdoor Education Experiences
