Parents and Guardians

The mission of the Forest Ridge Parent and Guardian Association (PGA) is to instill connection and school spirit throughout our diverse community and come together in support of our students’ collective experience, while also providing opportunities for parents and guardians to foster community with each other.

Every family at Forest Ridge is automatically a member of the PGA. Parent and guardian volunteers offer their time, energy, and talents to help with PGA programs, events and activities throughout the year. All Forest Ridge community members are invited, encouraged, and welcome to attend monthly PGA meetings. Meetings are held throughout the school year (September through May). The PGA also supports Forest Ridge’s strategic initiatives to reimagine community and secure a vibrant future.

Throughout the school year, there are programs and activities to help all parents and guardians feel welcomed, informed and connected. These opportunities will support both your daughter’s grade level and the school community at large. PGA-sponsored events include: 

• Parent/student events 
• Parent networking, education and social events
• Faculty & staff appreciation: The PGA celebrates our faculty and staff as an expression of gratitude for their hard work and dedication during Teacher Appreciation Week in early May.

Serving on the PGA  is a meaningful way to support students, strengthen community connections, and help create memorable experiences for Forest Ridge families.
